Parallel 33 Sales Group, Inc. has over 20 years of sales experience focused on the Outdoor Specialty retail markets. Our channels of distribution include a highly diversified customer base in the outdoor, fitness, and lifestyle market places. This independently-owned agency strives to provide great customer service, excellent technical support, and build solid, long-term, business relationships that result in profitable partnerships. We have a passion for the outdoors and strive to connect vendors, retailers, and consumers with innovative, cutting edge products.
Bill Schmid (President) has 10+ years of experience as a business owner and independent sales representative. With an avid passion for the outdoors, he uses the products he represents weekly for trail running, surfing, and skiing. With over 16 years of sales experience representing coveted outdoor brands, he has the experience to manage the business, build a sales team that focuses on retail staff training, merchandising, sales events, and even order entry. “Our agency’s vision is to look for under distributed brands that provide value, sell-through, and profit for our retail customers.” Bill and his team continue to develop relationships with brands and products that are high quality, functional, and have brand integrity.
Born in Denver and raised in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Bill began his outdoor career at Adventure 16 as a sales representative in the wholesale division while instructing beginning backpacking classes. In 2004, Bill continued his outdoor career in sales as a Southwest sales manager and tech rep for Suunto. In 2008 he founded his own sales agency, Parallel 33 Sales Group, and hasn’t looked back since. Currently, he lives in San Diego with his wife Lisa and daughter Mollie. Bill is an avid skier who also enjoys surfing, running, climbing, and mountain biking.
Jonas Goldsmith (No. Cal Territory Manager) is an outdoor enthusiast who loves skiing, rock climbing, cycling, and camping. His passion for the outdoors led him to a sales associate position at REI where he worked for four years while finishing up his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Cal Sate San Marcos and additionally has taken several marketing courses at the University of California San Diego.
In 2010, Jonas joined the Parallel 33 Sales Group where he works with others who also share his passion for the outdoors. In 2014, Jonas moved to Northern California where he currently manages P33 sales and brand representation for that part of the region.
